Early Years at Jewels Leading Lights International is split into pre-nursery, nursery, and reception. The Pre-Nursery class is for learners aged 2-3 years. Here, learners are taught through Play-Based Learning and introduced to music, phonics, language communication and literacy, and fine motor skills development, to mention a few. In the Nursery class, learners aged 3-4 years are introduced to the core of Early Years education: numeracy, language and literacy, PSED (personal, social, and emotional development), expressive arts and designs, phonics, physical development etc. The Reception class is the last class in Early Years education. Here, learners aged 4-5 years are prepared for a smooth transition into primary school with an introduction to the skills of reading and comprehension, number sense, creative writing, and good handwriting, to mention a few.
