Several departments exist simultaneously, offering highly educative subjects with a wide spectrum covering several international and national examinations.
Offers foreign and local languages. These include English Language, French Language, German Language and in prospect, a Chinese official Language come September, 2024. Nigerian languages covering Igbo, Hausa, and Yoruba are interestingly chosen by the learners at the junior secondary stage and sat for in the junior examinations (NECO BECE and ERC BECE).
These languages host educative and entertaining programmes in their subject areas such as Spelling Bees, Debates, Spoken Words, Poetry Day, World Book Day, etc.
Offers science subjects with practical knowledge exposing enough to prepare the students for standard examinations and live inventions which are already in manifestation, especially on our termly exhibition programmes.
Covers social sciences, commercial and humanitarian subjects.

Here at Jewels Leading Lights International, we offer a dual educational pathway. This allows for a wholistic education for our learners. For as we ensure they are ready for the world, they are also well grounded in their immediate environment.
The Nigerian Pathway The Nigerian pathway provides a comprehensive curriculum for learners aged 11-16 at the secondary school. It also offers a wide range of subjects to suit diverse interests and career aspirations with focus on knowledge and skill acquisition, entrepreneurship and STEAM.
After a national conference on curriculum, held in 1969, the National Policy on Education was drafted. This new policy suggested a 9-3-4 system of education which started in 1983. 9 years in primary school (Primary 1 – 6 + 3 years of junior secondary school) 3 years in senior secondary school 4 years in a tertiary institution The aim is to provide sustainable literacy and numeracy skills as well as effective communication skills. According to the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC), a 9-year basic education level is to be used for teaching and learning throughout the country.
